The hand-applied mirror kardana along the scalloped border is stunning

I have always loved traditional Jamdani, but the addition of mirror kardana work and the scalloped golden zari edge on this lavender-purple saree is truly unique. The handwoven floral and diamond-lattice buttis on the body are very subtle and elegant. It has that authentic Dhakai lightness which makes it incredibly easy to drape, yet the embellished pallu gives it a perfect festive weight. I paired it with gold jewelry for a family puja and felt absolutely elegant.

Gifted this to my sister-in-law for her housewarming puja

My sister-in-law was thrilled with this lavender Dhakai Jamdani. The leaf-and-vine mirror work on the border caught the light beautifully during the evening aarti. Just keep in mind that the package includes the saree only, so you will need to source a contrast gold or deep purple blouse separately. It drapes beautifully and the tone-on-tone pattern on the body looks very classy. Definitely a high-quality handloom piece.

Stunning handloom work, though shade is slightly deeper in person

The contrast between the soft lavender-purple Dhakai weave and the glittering mirror work on the pallu is gorgeous. It is surprisingly lightweight despite the hand-embellished metallic thread work. I wore it with oxidized silver jewellery as suggested, and it looked lovely at a festive dinner. My only minor note is that the dry clean care is essential to keep the delicate scalloped border intact, but the elegance of this piece is absolutely worth the effort.
