I was slightly skeptical about the tissue finish, but the fine mul cotton is incredibly soft. The way the color shifts between emerald green and deep royal blue under the lights is beautiful. The hand-placed gold sequins give just the right amount of subtle sparkle without looking gaudy. Gorgeous color shift, though the mul tissue is quite sheer

The dual-tone shift between emerald and deep royal blue is absolutely mesmerizing when light hits it. However, the mul cotton tissue is much sheerer than I anticipated. You definitely need a well-fitted petticoat. While the gold sequins and the blue tassels look elegant, I had to be extremely careful while draping to avoid snags. It is a very delicate, lightweight saree that requires gentle dry cleaning.
