As a textile enthusiast, I am extremely particular about hand block prints. This Bagru saree does not disappoint. The floral booti and zigzag chevron patterns are wonderfully crisp yet retain that authentic handmade charm. The soft mulmul cotton feels like a breeze to wear and drapes beautifully. The contrast border really frames the saree well.

My mother prefers soft, easy-to-drape sarees, so I chose this Bagru cotton mulmul saree in rust-red for her birthday. I wore this saree for a small family gathering last week. The earthy rust-red color combined with the traditional Bagru block print looks very classic. The mulmul fabric is exceptionally soft and lightweight, making it incredibly comfortable for daily wear. The geometric and floral booti designs are very pretty. However, the rust-red color is a bit more muted and earthy in person than I expected from the photos. It still looks lovely, but keep the rustic tone in mind if you prefer bright shades.
